How to assess a Yono download source
How to tell whether a Yono APK download source is the developer, a mirror, or a re-packed build. Look for version history, file size and signature.
The directory records three fields that help you verify a source: the developer name, the file size, and the version history.
Cross-check the developer name on the download page against the developer listed on the directory. Mismatched names usually mean the APK was re-packed by a third party.
Cross-check the file size. A difference of more than 1 MB between the directory listing and the download page is a signal the file has been re-built.
Cross-check the version history. Developers that publish a public changelog tend to be easier to verify than those that do not.
