Why a Yono APK may fail to install
Common reasons a Yono APK fails to install: package conflict, signature mismatch, minimum Android version, or storage permission. Diagnostic checklist.
When a Yono APK refuses to install, run through this checklist before contacting support.
1. The Android version is below the minimum requirement listed on the app page. Update the OS or use a different app.
2. The package is already installed under a different signature. Uninstall the older build and retry.
3. The Install unknown apps toggle is off for the source you used. Re-enable it for the browser or file manager.
4. Storage permission is denied. Grant the source permission to access Downloads.
5. The APK was renamed during download. Re-download with the original filename.
If the install still fails after the checklist, capture the exact error message and report it via the Report action on the app page.
